1 - New call for proposals in the EC
We are pleased to call your attention on the following call from the European Commission :
Theme: Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology FP7-KBBE-2009-3
Specific Programme(s): Cooperation
Budget: € 188 850 000
Deadline: 15 January 2009 at 17:00:00 (Brussels local time)
This call includes several topics that were defined following a workshop held in Brussels last April to discuss research priorities for the developing countries. It is a response by the EC to the need of having some specific support on FP7 devoted to these issues, and to the specific modalities for research in partnership with third countries institutions. Both the topics and the frame of the partnerships have been specially designed with this intention.

2 - Support by Natura for project preparation
Following a decision by the Natura General Assembly held in Hohenheim on October 7, Natura will support a the preparation of responses that will involve at least 3 Natura members and their local partners (see attached announcement). The maximum amount of this support will be 4000 Euros, and it can be used for inviting partners in a writeshop.
Requests for support should be addressed to the Natura secretariat following the guidelines listed in the attached file.
