Dear AGRINATURA member
As planned, AGRINATURA was launched at the Science Forum 2009 and the press release distributed to participants.
The fact that the new organisation was presented at the Science Forum underlined that our mandate, goals and activities were just one part of a more global and international system on agricultural knowledge for development. Our contribution inside the global system has to be clearly identified and recognised for its right value. With hundreds of PhDs registered every year, our Universities and research centres carry a major contribution to Agricultural Rural Development, while somehow scattered and not always visible for what it really is. Our achievements in the field of continuous and professional education also give legitimacy to contribute strongly to the openness to the civil society and the professional world.
Our new organisation will give us ore opportunities to build coherent contributions at the global level. Proposals are being currently discussed on which we shall keep you regularly informed in the coming weeks,
