you are cordially invited to the 1st International Bi-communal

Conference on Biodiversity in Cyprus

• To provide a holistic view of the issues of biodiversity by

integrating all of the independent biodiversity threats which are

inseparable, influencing and conditioning each other and turn them

into opportunities leading to sustainable biodiversity conservation.

• To provide the scientific community with a knowledge transfer

platform for raising awareness, collecting feedback and supporting

initiatives to mitigate biodiversity threats

• To exchange recommendations and prepare action plans for

immediate implementation

• To contribute to peace by developing research cooperation between

people, institutions and countries

• The conference will bring together a range of participants coming

from universities, research institutes, extension services, NGOs and

the business sector
